Purebred Transylvanian Naked Neck Cockerel
It's time for me to rehome our Transylvanian Naked Neck cockerel Treeleaf. Also called Turkens, TNNs, and Naked Necks, this heavy-bodied breed was bred because of its relative lack of feathers - making plucking faster.
Treeleaf is a lovely and docile boy who is terribly difficult to photograph because he follows me around looking for treats. He's been well trained and raised in a rooster-heavy flock and has never shown an ounce of aggression. He'd make a great protector for a flock and is great with kids.
If someone fairly local is taking him I'm happy to offer ongoing training support so that he remains as gentle as possible.
